I was rather startled to see this flat for sale today.
9 Wemyss Place
Unless I’m much mistaken this used to be the top two floors of the offices of Lattice Logic Ltd, my first real employer.
Strange to see the former VLSI design tools and compiler development offices tarted up in such an ostentatious fashion! When I worked there they were strictly functional; the desks were doors resting on wee book-cases. Very good desks they were too.
(Informatics relevance? Lattice Logic came out of the Department of Computer Science as was, one of the founding departments of the School of Informatics.)
