A Space City region has been prepared in OSGrid and has on it mesh models of Fireball XL5 and the Space City base, along with some other space related 3D models, all uploaded via the Collada mesh import facilities now available in OpenSim (and Second Life).

Venus’s Beach House is also included, with her jetmobile parked outside, along with Non-Player Characters (NPCs) for Venus and Robert the Robot.

Voyager Monument and Deep Space 1

The region also contains “monuments” to Voyager 1, mankind’s first object to leave the Solar System and enter Interstellar Space (Steve Vere’s AI planner created at NASA JPL, Deviser based on our Nonlin planner, was used to generate mission sequences for the Voyager Uranus flyby) and Deep Space 1, the first spacecraft to be controlled autonomously by an onboard AI planning and execution system (RAX, the Remote Agents eXperiment).
