The latest exercises are to explore a specific text corpus, the works of Charles Dickens, using the cqp
tool. This is installed on DICE, and I strongly recommend that you use the version there.
You can use DICE machines directly in the computer labs at Forrest Hill, or by connecting remotely. A command-line terminal should be enough, using ssh
(try PuTTY
on Windows) — see the Computing Support help pages for advice.
