INF1-OOP the students have not received their feedback for coursework 2 and they require this for report writing in coursework 3.
There appears to be an issue when submitting coursework in CodeGrade coursework 1 only took a few seconds but coursework 2 is taking 2 or 3 minutes, and can an extension be given for coursework 3 from Friday 8th April to Monday 12th?
*Action Bjoern to talk to the lecturer*
IADS Quiz 3 was cancelled due to the Strike action and the last quiz is worth 2.5% which was released with late notice and the students feel there is too much content to cover.
SEPP coursework 3 is now out which is in 2 parts SE part 3 is worth 38% and ProP is worth 25%, the students have to write an essay which is compulsory and the students don’t know why! It was explained that essay writing is very important and beneficial to when it comes to doing their UG4 Dissertation.
FDS the students had to do a presentation of progress which they found very good.
ADS the students were told that they would receive individual feedback for coursework one but they only received the marking scheme, they would have liked to know what marks they got and why!
*Action Neil to talk to the lecturer*
The Reps had their UG3 Staff Student Liaison Meeting last week and they felt it went really well.
It was asked if the Project selection could be moved to the summer break, Neil explained that there are a lot of staff that take annual leave through the summer due to teaching responsibilities and then there is the marking of the MSc Dissertations, so it wouldn’t be possible.
CS has extended their coursework 3 deadline due to the clash with SDP.
The Project submission web page only has last year’s submissions being shown, the students would like to be able to see if their submission has went through, this has been brought to the attention of the Course Organiser by the students.
No Reps in attendance.
