This is the IRP meeting schedule for 2016/2017.
I have scheduled three face to face meetings on March 8, 15, and 22. From March 29 until April 13, I am in the US, and travelling on several of these days. The rest of the time, I am available via Slack – do contact me if you have any question. I am also happy to Skype in the morning (US Mountain Time or Central Time 6am-8am). Do add me (mkwolters), and make sure that you say you are an MSc project student.
As soon as I have received confirmation that they have been hired, you will also meet with two PhD students who will act as tutors.
The schedule for the face to face meetings is as follows:
- Wednesday, 2-3: Design Informatics
- Wednesday, 3-4: Designing Reminders that Work
- Wednesday, 4-5: Topics in Accessibility
- Wednesday, 5-5.30: Forgetting in the Wild
I have proposed five MSc topics for 2016/2017.
I offer drop-in office hours for discussing these topics on Friday, February 3, 9am-12pm, Room 5.02, Informatics Forum. For those of you who can’t make the office hours, or who have additional questions, this post is an open thread for discussion.
Before asking a question, please check whether I haven’t already answered it. Comments are moderated, so don’t worry if your comment doesn’t show up immediately.
I have a Doodle poll for individual meetings, and the schedule as of now is:
Wednesday, January 11:
Friday, January 13:
Tuesday, January 17:
Wednesday, January 18:
Friday, January 20:
I have created a Doodle poll where you can sign up for your appointment.

I offer appointments between 10am and 5pm on Thursday, September 15 and Friday, September 16. I am in the States on September 12-14, so can’t offer earlier slots this time.
If you can only come before 10am or after 5pm, email me and I can arrange to see you out of hours.
If there are no suitable slots for you at all on Thursday and Friday, let me know as soon as you can, and tell me your schedule for Week 0 and Week 1.
See you soon!
